SB6 in Simlish & WIN a copy of Sims 3 & Showtime! Boom Documentary Online!! Gigs, gigs and gigs!!!

Oi oi!

Well, it's been a while! We've been busy at work behind the scenes for the last few weeks, making sure our forthcoming album is going to hit you guys with a bang. We hope to have an announcement about the album in the next few weeks so stay tuned to this channel for that. In the meantime there have been several developments across the Boom horizon we thought we should push your hearts and minds towards.

First of all is that we are stoked to let you know that on the recently-released video game Sims 3 Showtime Expansion Pack, one of the songs featured is our very own 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture'. Or should that be 'Fooda Yibs Ooda Malti Kooshie?' You can hear this brand new version of our music on our YouTube account now, along with a video for the track that I lovingly put together from the exploits of Sonic Boom Six within the Sims 3 world. Yes, that's Laila! Just click below... Thanks to Electronic Arts for the games and opportunity to share the song with you guys on our YouTube. Click the image below or visit the video HERE.

For those of you who have no idea what is going on in the track I think that a brief lesson in Simlish is in order... in short, it's the language spoken by the characters in the Sims universe but we've done you the honours of a 'making of' video detailing the re-recording of the track so you can see what it was all about. Click the image below or visit the video HERE.

To go along with all this tomfoolery and to celebrate the release of the game, we've got 3 copies of the Sims 3 game WITH the Sims 3 Showtime Expansion Pack to giveaway (PC version). And it's even the ultra cool limited edition version with extra venues!

To enter this competition we want you guys to go on Paint (and it must be Windows paint or something equally basic) and do your best picture of Sonic Boom Six, or any member of Sonic Boom Six. Do it picture perfect or do it funny, it's up to you, just impress us. Send your digital image as an attachment over to sims3@sonicboomsix.co.uk We will decide the winner next Saturday (April 7th). And we'll definitely be showing them on Facebook! Happy doodling!

As well as the Sims stuff, there is another cool Boom video up online this weekend. Paul Atkinson and his crew joined us for our HMV Next Big Thing gig in London last month to film the show and make a little documentary about the show's significance and our plans and thoughts about the new album and SB6 going forward! 'Sonic Boom Six - New Style Rockas' has turned out to be a cool film at an important point of our history and is well worth a watch for any Boom fan. You can watch the video on YouTube but be sure to visit Paul's Facebook Event for the documentary and leave some feedback HERE. Click below to check it out or go HERE.

OK, and onto what a lot of people have been asking about recently... gigs! We've got shows lined-up across the year and they're still coming in. As well as the addition of a few festivals we have a Last.fm presents gig at Manchester's The Roadhouse on the 19th April that's absolutely FREE to get it! That's not all, we're being supported by the awesome Straight Lines! Full details of that show will be up and about on here, Facebook and Twitter over the next couple of weeks but for now you can take a look at the concert page on Last FM HERE.

OK. That's enough for today I reckon. But before I forget, speaking of shows, our old friends Inner Terrestrials are having their album launch in London on the 21st of April! The show will be Inner Terrestrials long-awaited new album 'Tales of Terror' launch party with Jakal, The Filaments, and Suicide Bid All Stars! And of course, Suicide Bid All-Stars wouldn't be All-Stars without Laila and me getting involved. Expect to hear a couple of new Suicide Bid tunes! Advance tickets available are HERE and there is a Facebook event HERE.

Please take the time out of your day to check the 'Fooda Yibs Ooda Malta Kooshie' video out and make sure you watch 'New Style Rockas', you won't regret it. Oh, and get onto Paint why don't you?!!

Until The Sunlight Comes...
