Wow!
What a weekend! Thanks to Reading Festival and Leeds Festival, cheers to Mike Davies and the BBC Radio 1 Punk Show and hurrah to you guys that were cheering us on for making it so spectacular. We had an awesome time and it was great to see so many old friends. We're pleased to say that the tent was absolutely packed out and bursting at the seams with a bouncing sea of Boom. But we've got even more gigs in store for The Legion of Boom... starting this weekend. This Saturday we're headlining the The Mash Up Festival; "a beer keg, and music festival", at Whitehouse Farm Centre, Morpeth in Northumberland. Anarchy Brew Co. will present craft keg beer from 10 breweries plus 18 emerging bands, and 3 DJs. Visit their Facebook event HERE.
And on October 10th, we're playing the first Hatfield Rocks show, and it's been confirmed that our incredible pals RAT ATTACK! have been added to the bill. The Forum Hertfordshire will launch a new monthly gig night in October with the aim of giving local talent the opportunity to play with professional artists in a high spec venue. But the the first big announcement today! As soon as we get back from our holidays in early September we're right on it and we are super-stoked to announce that Sonic Boom Six will one of the headline acts for the Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING TOUR 2013 along with Dry the River Spector, Lower Than Atlantis, and Young Guns. We will be headlining at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on SEPTEMBER 28th, JUST A MONTH AWAY! Tickets are priced at JUST £5 and go on sale this Saturday 31st Aug (instore) and Monday 2nd Sept (Online). Tickets are limited to 2 per person. Manchester will be 14+. For the Manchester gig, tickets will be available from our Manchester, Leeds & Liverpool stores.

And in another big slab of news, we can today announce that we have been added to the bill of the Vans Warped Tour 2013! Set to take place at London’s historic Alexandra Palace on November 16th and 17th, the UK leg of the VANS WARPED TOUR – headlined by ENTER SHIKARI, RISE AGAINST, PARKWAY DRIVE, and BILLY TALENT – continues to go from strength to strength with another killer list of bands added to the line-up. According to Warped "Leading the charge are Steel City metallic hardcore heroes WHILE SHE SLEEPS, more ferocity comes to the fore with another exciting addition in the shape of HATEBREED and freshly confirmed are Manchester’s ever eclectic SONIC BOOM SIX. Recently seen hitting Download, Reading and Leeds, SONIC BOOM SIX’s profile is bigger than ever following the release of last year’s self-titled album – their first under a new deal with Xtra Mile."
