FREE DOWNLOAD! New Riotstep Soundclash. Sonic Boom Six vs. From The Cradle To The Rave.

Hey guys

Just a heads up to let you know 'Natty Hawks', the soundclash between Sonic Boom Six and Riotstep pioneers From The Cradle To The Rave has been posted to the SB6 Soundcloud account today and offered as a free download!
'Natty Hawks' was produced and written over a number of months through email collaboration between From The Cradle To The Rave and Sonic Boom Six, who finally met when C-Rave supported SB6 at a show at Glasgow King Tut's. The bands immediately bonded over shared philosophies of pushing the boundaries of genre through their, admittedly very different, punk-related music. Lyrically, the track explores the Banda Aceh authorities’ 2012 arrest of Punk Rock concertgoers for 'moral rehabilitation'. 'Natty Hawks' is a reaction to situation and a cry of solidarity for punks worldwide over an incendiary, experimental soundclash between From The Cradle To The Rave's Riotstep - a dark, abrasive drum n bass variant - and Sonic Boom Six's trademark rap, ska, rock mash-up.

You can read more about the Banda Aceh punk situation that inspired the song HERE.

Please remember to follow us on Soundcloud for more freebies and fun! I'm just getting finished uploading a bunch of song stems to the site so you guys can remix to your heart's desire very soon.

Apologies for the lack of a Pledgemusic update this week. I'm afraid my iPad, with lots of recording videos on it, got left on a train on Monday so I haven't been able to make the film of our demoing that I wanted to. Please all cross your fingers for me that lost property plays a blinder and the damn thing turns up! So, if you want to cheer me up, head over to our PledgeMusic page on pay day and make it happen!

Until The Sunlight Comes...
