European tour starts today! Boom-web bits and bobs!!

Hey guys

I hope everyone in the UK is enjoying the sunny weather we're having right now. What a treat. I've just had a Cornetto as we wait for the AA to come and repair our tyre! D'oh. We're off on our (belated) way to the mainland to get on it like a bonnet for our shows in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Switzerland. With just a minor setback.

Bits and bobs of Boom have been popping about over the world wide web over the last week or so. Our mates at Trifecta films have put together a delcious 'making the video' style vid for our recording of 'New Style Rocka' and you can check out the video over on YouTube HERE.

On The King Blues tour, we were joined onstage by the Manchester DnB don dada Tonn Piper for a rendition of 'New Style Rocka'. We couldn't let that moment pass without commiting it to history so we filmed it and uploaded it on our YouTube account HERE.

Your man Anthony Purkiss has made a weird and wonderful CGI video for 'Welcome to (The City Of Thieves) for a college project. The main point of interest here is to see the scallies on their bikes on the cover come to life and beat a poor lad senseless. High drama indeed. Check it out HERE.

Also over on YouTube you can hear the Frisk remix of 'New Style Rocka' which features on the 'New Style Rocka' single and is up online HERE. You can still get the single if you haven't already over at sonicboomsix.co.uk/newstylerocka

There's gonna be more remixes of the new single heading their way onto YouTube very soon, so stay tuned. We've also got a more exciting festivals to announce in the coming weeks. It's all coming up Millhouse.

OK, once we get back we're gonna be recording a new single and get on with writing. A lot of people have been asking about the new album. Recording is penciled in in June so hopefuly you're going to start hearing stuff sooner rather than later. I'm stoked at how the new music is coming along, can't wait for you guys to hear it...

Keep that feedback coming in to barney@sonicboomsix.co.uk. I'd like to hear if you guys want more YouTube content, what you like and what you don't and of course I'll answer any questions you guys have. Be creative, be critical, be honest, we love to hear feedback. But not the screechy type that comes out of amps.

Until the Sunlight Comes!

Barney x
