7/2/09 - STUDIO! YOUTUBE MADNESS! THE BEAT TOUR!!!

Hello there

Hope all is well in the land of the living. Cheers to all those we saw last week at Random Hand's album launch. I hope you are all enjoying the magnificance of 'Inhale/Exhale' (out on Monday on Rebel Alliance Recordings!).

We've been holed up in the land of the recording for the past week and things are going well. I know next weeks going to be proper hectic but we've got the weekend off so I'm gonna fire out an update and let everyone know what's going on. Laila has recorded a short video diary and explained, amongst other things, the weather in Devon, our bizarre musical wallchart and what a Flimboid is. What she doesn't explain however, is what possessed her to purchase a jersey with a picture of a bong-eyed cat on it.

OK then, in accordance with this new-found embrace of everything video, I've totally re-sorted our YouTube page. Everything is split into three playlists. One with interviews, diaries and chat, one with promo videos and one with live performances which include loads of good stuff like gigs in weird places, cover versions and acoustic sessions. There's some great stuff up now that's not been up there before, such as the awesome 'Sound of a Revolution' video, the I've gone through the rigmarole of sifting through every vid of us on YouTube and seperated the phone-in-the-moshpit chaff from the well-recorded, decent-sounding wheat so you don't have to. There is a killer black and white 'Until the Sunlight Comes' from Liverpool and tons more good stuff. Also, there is a favourites section there which showcases loads of fan videos and projects and stuff. It's occasionally slightly creepy.

So, please go and subscribe to our channel! I promise I will look after it!!!

Our YouTube is HERE.

Soon as we've finished the record we're going to be heading for Europe for three weeks or so of dates, some with the awesome Jaya The Cat which we're stoked about. After that, it's back in blightly for a full tour supporting 2-Tone legends The Beat! We're made up that they chose to invite us as the special guests on their 30th Anniversary tour. I guess we will be playing a few new tunes so we hope to see some of you there.

All the dates are up on the myspace and website now.

OK then me hearties, its time for me to get scribbling last minute lyrics and raiding 60s horror films for samples. By the way, go and check out the new Kerrang! it's got our bestest homies the King Blues on the cover no less! Don't pinch yourself! There is hope for humanity after all! :D
